Question by KVJ: During World War II, why were the U.S Marines the only ones wearing camouflaged cloth covering helmets?
Before they used to were camouflaged uniforms, but, that was discontinued because they were often mistaken for specific German soldiers.
Just to make it perfectly clear, I'm not talking about being the only ones to wear camouflaged helmets; technically they weren't, because even the others had camouflaged helmets. But, they had a "net" covering
